Our Story

Started in a Van. Still Got the Same Values.

Craig Donovan started Apex Roofing in 2008 after spending years working for larger contractors where corners were cut and customers were an afterthought. He had a simple idea: what if a roofing company actually gave a damn about the work it put out?

He started small — just himself, a Transit van, and a growing reputation in Wigan for doing what he said he'd do. Word spread fast. Within two years he'd taken on his first employee. Today, Apex Roofing has a full team of experienced roofers and handles everything from emergency repairs on a Tuesday morning to full new-build roofing contracts.

What hasn't changed is the approach. Craig is still on the tools most days. The team still treats every property like it's their own. And every quote is still done face-to-face, with no inflated prices or hidden extras.
