Built to Last 50 Years or More

Whether you're building new, replacing a roof that's past it, or upgrading to something better, we'll give you a proper installation from the rafters up. No shortcuts. No cowboy fixes on top of old problems.

We work with all the main roofing systems used in the UK. Concrete and clay interlocking tiles, natural Welsh slate, artificial slate — we'll advise on what suits your property, your budget, and your planning requirements.

Every new roof we install starts with a full inspection of the roof structure. If the timbers, decking, or breathable membrane need attention, we sort that before laying a single tile. That's what gives you a roof that actually lasts.

  • Concrete and clay plain and interlocking tiles
  • Natural Welsh and Spanish slate
  • Artificial slate systems (lighter, often planning-friendly)
  • Breathable membrane installation as standard
  • Ridge and hip tiles in matching materials
  • Lead flashing to all abutments and penetrations
  • Full scaffold and safety measures included
  • Written workmanship guarantee

Do I need planning permission for a new roof?

In most cases, like-for-like replacements don't need planning permission. If you want to change the material or colour, it's worth checking with your local authority. We'll advise you on this when we do your survey — it's something we deal with regularly.

Common Questions About New Roofs

Most residential re-roofs take 3–7 days depending on the size of the property and the complexity of the roof shape. We'll give you a realistic timescale in your quote. We won't rush a job to move on to the next one.
In most cases, no. We work section by section to keep the roof covered and watertight as much as possible. We'll let you know if there's ever going to be a point where you need to plan around us, but it's rare.
It depends on the size of your roof, the pitch, and the materials you choose. A typical 3-bedroom semi in Wigan or Bolton might start from around £4,000–£6,000 for concrete tiles, through to £8,000–£15,000+ for natural slate. We'll give you a fixed price in writing before any work starts.
All our new roof installations come with a written workmanship guarantee. The length depends on the system used — typically 10–15 years on our labour. On top of that, the materials carry their own manufacturer guarantees.
