Circuit Electrical was founded by Mike Ashworth with one aim: to do electrical work properly, charge a fair price, and treat every customer the way he'd want to be treated himself.
Mike Ashworth started Circuit Electrical in 2011 after spending eight years working for a large electrical contractor in Salford. He knew there was a gap for a small, responsive firm that put quality of work first and treated customers as people, not job numbers.
Starting out as a one-man operation, Circuit Electrical grew steadily through word of mouth — the most reliable form of advertising there is. Today the team covers the full range of domestic and commercial electrical work across Greater Manchester, but the ethos hasn't changed: turn up when you say you will, do the job right, and be honest about what it costs.
We're NICEIC registered and Part P certified, which means every job we complete meets the current wiring regulations and you receive the proper certification. This matters for your insurance, for your building sign-off, and for anyone who buys your home in the future.
Three things that haven't changed since we started in 2011.
We quote before we start and we don't add to it. If something unexpected comes up during the job, we'll talk to you about it before we do anything that costs more. There are no call-out fees buried in small print.
NICEIC registration isn't just a logo — it means an independent assessor comes to audit our work every year. You're not taking our word for it. Our registration can be checked online on the NICEIC contractor database.
We turn up when we say we will. If anything changes, we call ahead. When a job is done, we walk you through what we've done and make sure you have the certificates you need before we leave.
Call us, email or use the contact form. We'll respond within a few hours — often sooner.
