Emergency Electrician
Manchester

Power failure, tripped circuits that won't reset, burning smell, sparking outlet — call us any time. We cover Greater Manchester round the clock.

When to Call an Emergency Electrician

Some electrical faults can wait for a booked appointment. Others need dealing with straight away. If you're unsure, call us — we'll tell you honestly whether it's urgent and, if it is, we'll get someone to you as quickly as possible.

We typically arrive within 60–90 minutes for emergency calls in the Greater Manchester area, though this can vary depending on traffic and how many jobs are already in progress. We'll give you an honest time estimate when you call.

All of our emergency electricians are fully qualified, NICEIC registered and carry the test equipment and common parts needed to deal with most faults on the first visit. If a more significant repair is required, we'll make the installation safe, explain what needs to happen next and arrange a follow-up visit.

Is your situation a gas emergency? If you can smell gas, leave the building immediately and call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999. Do not use any light switches or electrical items.

What We Deal With

Total power failure — no power to any part of the property
RCD keeps tripping and won't stay on
Burning smell from a socket, switch or consumer unit
Sparking or scorch marks on outlets
Partial power loss — some circuits dead
Electric shock from a socket or switch
Water ingress into electrical fittings
Storm damage to external electrical installations

What Happens When You Call

You call — we answer

Our emergency line is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You'll speak to someone immediately — not an answering service. We'll ask you a few quick questions to understand the situation.

We give you a time and a price

Before anyone comes out, we'll tell you how long it will take to get to you and the call-out charge. No surprises. If the job requires parts or additional work, we'll discuss that with you before we start.

We find and fix the fault

Our electricians carry fault-finding equipment and the most common spare parts. The majority of emergency faults are diagnosed and repaired on the first visit.

You get a report

After every emergency job, we provide a written summary of what was found and what was done. If any further work is needed, we'll tell you clearly and give you a quote with no obligation.
